Diesel Hydraulic Equipment Service Mechanic

Use diesel, hydraulic, and diagnostic expertise as a Service Mechanic supporting Quarry Hills’ Brandon, MB equipment fleet.
This Heavy Duty and Automotive Mechanic role supports a growing commercial contractor specializing in gravel, sewer and waterworks, and earthworks. You will maintain varied equipment and vehicles, investigate mechanical faults, and complete repairs that support efficient operations. The role requires safe, organized work in a shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose mechanical issues across diesel and gas engines
Repair hydraulic, braking, and electrical system components
Complete preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
Keep the shop organized and clean
Record services and communicate significant repair requirements
Requirements:
Journeyman Red Seal or equivalent qualification preferred
Minimum two years of relevant maintenance and repair experience
Knowledge of heavy equipment systems and preventative programs
Familiarity with safety and compliance requirements
Valid Class 5 licence and physical shop capability
Support reliable job site equipment through diesel repair, hydraulic troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and accurate service reporting.
