The Accountant oversees accounting functions for individual operations, with emphasis on contract terms, financial reporting, and account accuracy. You will review general ledger reconciliations, analyze balance sheet activity, and address client reporting, billing, and payment matters. The role also supports Sarbanes-Oxley internal control testing.
Key Responsibilities:

Review contracts and interpret contractual financial terms
Resolve client reporting, billing, and payment issues
Approve complex quarterly and year-end ledger reconciliations
Monitor component financial indicators and communicate results
Participate in annual Sarbanes-Oxley controls testing
Requirements:

Two to five years of accounting experience
Experience in a contract-intensive environment preferred
Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Use contract knowledge, financial controls experience, and clear communication to support accurate accounting outcomes across Aramark operations.
