Build vehicle electronics expertise installing specialized equipment for KELCOM Radio Solutions, a Prairie Mobile Group division in Windsor.
This full-time permanent technician position involves moving from 12-volt equipment work into installation with minimal training. You will work on varied vehicles, applying mechanical skills and technical knowledge. Projects support public safety communications for Essex County Police, Fire, and Ambulance, requiring dependable workmanship and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Install specialized electronics across a variety of vehicles
Maintain and repair installed vehicle equipment
Work independently or as part of a team
Manage installation work with organized time planning
Support public safety voice, data, and video systems
Requirements:
Experience in a similar role preferred
Ability to bend, stretch, stand, and lift 50 pounds
Excellent time management and organization skills
Valid Level 5 driver's license and acceptable abstract
Mobile Electronics Certified Professional designation considered an asset
Bring vehicle electronics, mechanical aptitude, and installation experience to specialized systems serving public safety customers in Windsor.
