Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, you will prepare, dispense, control, and deliver prescriptions while meeting patient needs. The work includes inventory oversight, patient counselling, cost control, Doctor request resolution, and colleague training. Public relations activities help create awareness and educate customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, prepare, and deliver prescriptions accurately and timely
Review and control costs within the pharmacy dispensary
Ensure adequate medication and supplement inventory levels
Provide positive resolution to patient and Doctor issues
Create awareness through public health days and clinics
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy degree
Class A Pharmacists license is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong personal computing skills
Healthwatch or KROLL knowledge is an asset
