Complex Casualty Claims Adjuster
Echelon Insurance
Manage moderate to high complexity casualty claims for Echelon Insurance, using investigation, decision-making, and negotiation skills across personal and commercial lines.
This Intermediate Claims Adjuster handles automobile, long haul trucking, motorcycle, and recreational vehicle Accident Benefits claims. You will evaluate coverage, negotiate settlements, control expenses, and resolve claims accurately and promptly. The work includes challenging coverage matters, outsourced claim oversight, and litigation participation.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and evaluate personal and commercial claims
Negotiate settlements for moderate to high complexity claims
Control expenses through proactive claims handling
Direct vendor partners when necessary
Obtain manager approval above assigned authority
Requirements:
Three to five years of casualty claims experience
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret insurance contracts across jurisdictions
Strong general computer knowledge
Bring casualty claims experience, sound judgment, and contract interpretation skills to Echelon Insurance’s claims operation.
