Full Time Facility Cleaning Aide

Use wet mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and power equipment as a full-time Housekeeping Aide at Cooper Place. Saturday and Sunday are days off.
This regular full-time position cleans and maintains assigned facility areas under the Manager, Support Services or delegate. Work includes light and heavy cleaning, high dusting, resident-room service, washroom disinfection, linen collection, and supply replenishment. The schedule runs from 0700 to 1500.
Key Responsibilities:
Wet mop, vacuum, scrub, wax, and polish facility surfaces
High dust or vacuum pipes, lights, and ventilators
Use step ladders where necessary for assigned cleaning
Strip and make beds while tidying resident rooms
Remove refuse and replenish soap and paper supplies
Requirements:
Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
Ability to operate related cleaning equipment
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties
Ability to organize assigned work
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Bring practical facility cleaning, floor care, high dusting, and resident-room service skills to Cooper Place housekeeping.
