Laboratory Billing Data Entry Analyst

Laboratory billing data entry analysts manage test and diagnosis information in Softatcis, with performance expectations reaching 600 tests within six months. The position includes continuous typing.
Under the Data Entry Supervisor’s supervision, you will process laboratory requisitions, identify abnormalities, and complete related reports. Additional systems include Labtest, LifePoint, DataFlex, and Seacoast. The work requires basic computer skills, software knowledge, accurate filing, communication, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
Process laboratory billing data in Softatcis
Print lab results in Labtest or LifePoint
Understand temporary files in DataFlex
Understand edit reports in Seacoast
Work overtime as needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Knowledge of lab tests and different payer types
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes
Knowledge of DataFlex and Seacoast software
Ability to sit, walk, type, bend, and lift files
Support laboratory billing accuracy through Softatcis data entry, requisition processing, performance targets, and familiarity with related systems.
