Quality Control Technician Cannabis Compliance

Apply analytical skills on the afternoon shift as a Quality Control Technician I at SNDL’s Kelowna Valens Agritech Facility. Support product safety and compliance.
This Quality Control Technician I position supports Good Documentation Practices, Good Production Practices, and Health Canada regulations. You will perform in-process checks, review documentation, approve releases, and support sampling. This is not a laboratory-based role; samples go to external laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform surface, equipment, and environmental swabbing
Review cleaning records, activity logs, and scale verifications
Approve room and equipment releases before use
Monitor in-process controls and respond to deviations
Sample cannabis, packaging labels, and finished products
Requirements:
At least one year scientific or cannabis-related experience
Familiarity with safe food handling
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Time management, multitasking, and communication skills
Bring documentation review, sampling, and analytical quality control skills to SNDL’s Kelowna cannabis facility afternoon shift.
