Facilities Maintenance Assistant Manitoba

Maintain public facilities across District 3 as a Manitoba government Maintenance Assistant with HVAC and general building maintenance experience. Work is based in Dauphin.
This regular, full-time position belongs to Asset Management within Public Service Delivery Operations. The successful applicant performs varied facility work under supervision, including grounds care, snow removal, cleaning, HVAC maintenance, and minor plumbing repairs. Safe work practices and Workplace Safety and Health requirements guide every duty.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment at District 3 facilities
Complete lawn care, snow removal, and facility cleaning
Perform HVAC maintenance and minor plumbing repairs
Conduct safety inspections and handle emergency responses
Work collaboratively while following safe work practices
Requirements:
Demonstrated general building and equipment maintenance experience
5th Class Power Engineer or related trade designation
Ability to analyze and solve problems
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Required security, abuse registry, and driver checks
Bring facility maintenance experience, communication skills, and safety knowledge to Manitoba government operations in Dauphin.
