Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Acute Care department. The 0.40 FTE clinical position provides patient, resident, and client care under established standards, policies, and procedures. Charge responsibilities may include clinical direction for Health Care Aides, Unit Clerks, other LPNs, and Nurse IIs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, residents, and clients
Practice within CLPNM scope and professional ethical guidelines
Provide clinical direction when assigned charge responsibilities
Support the authority's mission, vision, and values
Help identify and disrupt patterns of racism
Requirements:
Active or eligible Manitoba practical nursing licensure
Current Basic Life Support training
Clinical nursing competence aligned with approved standards
Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Valid Manitoba driver's license and satisfactory checks
Bring licensed practical nursing expertise, clinical judgment, and communication skills to Acute Care at Teulon Hospital on nights.
