Apply fresh produce knowledge and quality control expertise as a full-time Quality Control Specialist in Langley, BC. Review incoming products and report deficiencies.
This temporary-to-permanent position focuses on fresh produce quality across incoming and outgoing inventory. You will support HACCP food safety, inventory management, transportation temperature monitoring, and customer specifications. The work includes communicating with warehouse management and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
Review arriving products for quality issues and deficiencies
Report product condition through clear communication
Coach, teach, and train staff about produce quality
Monitor transportation temperatures for products
Manage inventory quality and FIFO programs
Requirements:
Understanding of fresh produce and quality control
Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication
Experience managing product inventory and FIFO programs
Good computer and time management skills
Permanent resident or Canadian citizen status
Bring fresh produce inspection, HACCP knowledge, and inventory management skills to this Langley quality control position.
