Good Shepherd seeks a Registered Nurse for its ten-bed palliative care facility. You will support individuals nearing life’s end and their families within a person-centered, holistic model. The team includes personal support workers, nurses, physicians, and spiritual and psychosocial professionals.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide palliative nursing care in a home-like hospice environment
Assess pain and symptoms using evidence-based practices
Support individuals and families facing end-of-life care
Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
Observe health and safety rules and regulations
Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited nursing school
Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current BCLS certificate or willingness to obtain upon hire
Previous palliative care or end-of-life experience
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
