Night shift Dispatcher in Mississauga managing drivers, tractors, trailers, and freight schedules with strong transportation coordination skills.
SAVARD Personnel Group is seeking an experienced Dispatcher for a busy Truckload Operations team. The role manages assigned fleets, dispatches loads, monitors service activity, coordinates cross-border shipments, and supports safe, efficient, on-schedule freight movement. This temporary-to-hire position requires flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned drivers, tractors, and trailers
Dispatch loads and meet pickup and delivery commitments
Monitor ETAs, appointments, alerts, and Hours of Service compliance
Coordinate cross-border shipments and required documentation
Respond to delays, equipment issues, weather, and traffic
Requirements:
Two or more years of dispatch or transportation experience preferred
Trucking or freight transportation experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation management systems
Flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
