This position assists the supervising physiotherapist with treatment plans for individuals living in residential care communities. You will perform prescribed treatments, lead resident exercise classes, prepare equipment, and document daily care. Communication about resident status remains central.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist physiotherapists with treatment plan components for residents
Perform gait, balance, transfer, and strengthening treatments
Deliver safe therapeutic exercise classes for resident groups
Prepare equipment and clean treatment areas afterward
Record treatments using the web-based Seniors Wellness system
Requirements:

PTA or OTA diploma, or Kinesiology degree
Similar healthcare background may also qualify
Previous long-term care experience considered an asset
Valid Vulnerable Sector check completed within six months
Proof of two-step Mantoux clearance
