As a Senior Market Risk Associate, you will provide independent oversight for FX Options and Short-Term Interest Rate Trading. The position combines portfolio analysis, financial modeling, risk reporting, and regulatory awareness. You will translate complex technical information for traders, control functions, Risk Management, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide desk and asset-class oversight for GFX businesses
Validate sensitivities, VaR, Stressed VaR, and backtesting
Investigate data, methodology, model, and system issues
Challenge trading strategies, controls, and limit usage
Support policy, regulatory, model, and system changes
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
At least two years of relevant experience
Strong financial instruments, derivatives, and portfolio management experience
Expertise in FX Swaps, FX Forwards, and FX Options
Excellent written, spoken, and presentation communication
Support TD’s FX risk governance through derivative expertise, validated metrics, independent challenge, and concise stakeholder communication.
