Senior Accountant Assurance and Tax

Apply GAAP and ASPE expertise as a Senior Accountant with MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team in an on-site, full-time position. Prepare financial information that helps clients make informed decisions.
As a Senior Accountant, you will support MNP’s Canadian accounting, tax, and business advisory practice. The work includes compilation, review, and tax engagements, alongside client reporting and financial analysis. You will manage multiple files while developing client relationships and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct compilation, review, and tax engagements
Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reports
Review and correct financial discrepancies and irregularities
Prepare technical reports, summaries, and engagement presentations
Develop client relationships and mentor junior team members
Requirements:
Two to four years of public accounting experience
Extensive knowledge of GAAP and ASPE
Experience with accounting and tax software
Understanding of business and accounting principles
Understanding of management and practice development principles
Bring public accounting, financial reporting, and client advisory expertise to MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team.
