Civil Infrastructure Earthwork Estimator
Pomerleau
Estimate major earthwork projects at Pomerleau using quantity take-offs and construction pricing expertise. This corporate role follows a hybrid work model.
As an Estimator in Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure division, you will support the Earthworks business unit. You will contribute to large-scale sewer, waterworks, wind farm, dam, and roadwork projects. Your work will support competitive bids and project success through detailed analysis and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute actively throughout the bid process cycle
Price project-specific labor, equipment, and materials
Interpret technical specifications accurately and carefully
Complete quantity take-offs for contract pricing
Build relationships with trade partners, consultants, and clients
Requirements:
Three to five years of construction estimating experience
Engineering or construction management education, or equivalent experience
Project coordination and team collaboration experience
Strong research skills for project-specific expenses
Computer skills, especially estimation software
Bring earthwork estimating, quantity take-off, and bid process expertise to Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure projects across Canada.
