Remote Airfield Operations Coordinator

Coordinate ramp activity for Matrix at remote project sites, combining airfield safety, cargo movement, and clear communication. Yellowknife applicants are required.
This hands-on Airside/Yard Coordinator role supports aircraft arrivals and departures in changing weather conditions. You will organize and secure apron cargo, follow site procedures, communicate with flight crews, and maintain awareness around aircraft, vehicles, and moving equipment. Remote-site experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain safe, organized apron areas during aircraft movements
Follow airfield, site, and company safety procedures
Load and unload supplies, equipment, cargo, and baggage
Support inventory control, shipping, and receiving tracking
Operate required forklifts, loaders, and equipment
Requirements:
Must be local to Yellowknife
Valid Class 5 license and clean driver's abstract
Trailer-hauling experience and required forklift certification
Ability to work remote camp rotations and shift coverage
Strong reliability, safety awareness, and physical capability
Support Matrix remote airfield operations through dependable coordination, safe cargo movement, and disciplined equipment handling.
