Support classroom learning as a Substitute Teacher with Stoney Education Authority. Deliver lesson plans, maintain routines, and supervise students in various SEA schools on a casual basis.
Stoney Education Authority is looking for capable Substitute Teachers for its schools including Chief Jacob Bearspaw and Nakoda Elementary. This role is ideal for candidates with a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate and strong classroom management skills. You'll deliver prepared lesson plans and adapt to various grade levels while fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lesson plans for assigned classes
• Follow school expectations and classroom routines
• Supervise students during transitions and instruction
• Collaborate with Educational Assistants and staff
• Communicate behavioral or safety concerns effectively
Requirements:
• Valid Interim or Permanent Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
• Respectful engagement with Stoney Nakoda community
