Varicent is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to bolster security across diverse domains such as incident response, vulnerability management, and tooling. With over 5 years of experience in Information Security, this role allows for involvement in cutting-edge areas like AI security and security automation. You will work collaboratively with Engineering, Cloud Operations, and IT teams to identify risks and improve security measures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deploy and monitor security technologies like SIEM and EDR
• Lead small-to-medium security projects from planning to execution
• Investigate security events and support incident response
• Validate and remediate identified vulnerabilities
• Conduct security risk assessments for various initiatives
Requirements:
• 5+ years in Information Security or Engineering roles
• Bachelor's in relevant fields
• Security certification (CISSP, CISA, etc.)
• Hands-on security technologies experience
• Proficient in cloud environment security measures
