Personal Care Support Worker Fenelon Court

Deliver part time personal care at Fenelon Court while supporting resident safety, hygiene, mobility, and emotional well-being through attentive service.
As Extendicare’s Personal Support Worker, you will work with residents and clients in a position of trust. You will observe conditions, report concerns, and advocate for safety while respecting confidentiality. The position calls for interpersonal strength, customer focus, communication abilities, and capacity to perform necessary lifting or transferring tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Observe and report residents’ care, service, and condition changes
Assist with hygiene, meals, mobility, and adaptive equipment
Maintain resident information confidentiality
Promote safe, clean environments and protect belongings
Provide social, emotional, cognitive, and psychological support
Requirements:
Personal Support Worker graduate or provincial equivalent certificate
At least 600 hours theory and practicum in Ontario or Alberta
Experience supporting seniors in community health services settings
Strong written and oral communication skills
First Aid, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and required background checks
