Be a Lifeguard at Midtown and monitor pool safety effectively. Engage with community members while ensuring a secure and clean swimming environment for everyone.
As a Lifeguard at Midtown, you play a vital role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience in our aquatics areas. Your duties include enforcing rules to prevent accidents, managing swimming area order, and responding promptly to emergencies. Cleanliness will be a priority, contributing to a positive atmosphere within the pools. Use your interpersonal skills to support patrons in their aquatic activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Keep swimming areas orderly while monitoring patrons
• Enforce rules and regulations for aquatic safety
• Swiftly respond to emergencies to save lives
• Maintain cleanliness of aquatics areas and facilities
• Provide multisensory instruction to patrons when needed
Requirements:
• Ability to swim and trained in water rescue
• Certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid required
• Strong customer service orientation with great interpersonal skills
• Sponsored by Lifesaving Society
• Capable of offering various educational techniques
