Material Handler Leadhand Warehouse

Material Handler Leadhands guide warehouse flow, operate forklifts, and manage inventory across day, afternoon, and night shifts.
This Material Handler Leadhand role supports efficient movement, storage, and management of materials in a warehouse and distribution center. You will guide junior handlers while loading, sorting, counting, and preparing shipments. The work also includes stock records, equipment inspections, safety compliance, and communication with supervisors and departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide, motivate, and train junior material handlers
Load, unload, move, sort, count, and weigh materials
Maintain stock records and perform cycle counts
Pull, pack, and stage accurate shipment orders
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and machinery safely
Requirements:
Forklift operator experience preferred
Overhead crane experience preferred
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Physical stamina, strength, coordination, and mechanical aptitude
Ability to lead others and follow safety regulations
Apply material handling, inventory, forklift, and leadership skills while supporting safe warehouse and distribution operations.
