Meat Production Clerk Retail Cutting

As a Meat Production Clerk, you will answer questions about grilling and nutrition while preparing products for display. Sobeys provides company-specific training for candidates learning meat cuts. The work combines customer service, stocking, merchandise presentation, order writing, product receiving, and sanitation. Previous retail meat cutting experience receives strong preference.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers politely and answer meat-related questions
Cut and prepare meat using knives and saws
Stock meat products and fill product showcases
Build merchandise displays according to company programs
Receive, rotate, clean, and sanitize products and work areas
Requirements:

Previous retail meat cutting experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of various meat cuts is an asset
Ability to learn quickly with company training
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Highly motivated and team oriented
