Kindergarten Early Learning Educator

Bring early learning knowledge to kindergarten classrooms as a Designated Early Childhood Educator for the Simcoe County District School Board supply list. Partner with teachers daily.
This position reports to the Principal and supports a full-day early learning program alongside the Kindergarten Teacher. Successful applicants understand children’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. They communicate sensitively with children, parents, staff, and the public while following directions, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement full-day kindergarten learning programs with teachers
Plan and deliver age-appropriate early learning activities
Enhance environments for children’s social and emotional development
Respond appropriately during stressful or emergency situations
Maintain confidentiality in early learning settings
Requirements:
Early Childhood Education Diploma from a two-year college program
Proof of current College of Early Childhood Educators membership
Minimum six months’ recent early learning centre experience
Ability to communicate sensitively and courteously
Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
Use your kindergarten, program-planning, and child-development knowledge to support classrooms across the Simcoe County District School Board.
