Support 50 school sites as an Irrigation Maintenance Worker with Central Okanagan Public Schools. Strong communication and independent work skills are essential.
Under operations supervision, this position maintains irrigation infrastructure while supporting grounds duties throughout Peachland, West Kelowna, Kelowna, and Lake Country. Responsibilities include system programming, watering adjustments, work orders, equipment care, and fencing, planting, mowing, or small equipment operation. The schedule is 40 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain irrigation systems across assigned school locations
Adjust watering patterns through system programming
Create and maintain required technical documentation
Communicate effectively with staff and others
Assist with fencing, planting, mowing, and equipment tasks
Requirements:

Completed Grade 12
Valid BC Driver's License and basic computer literacy
Required Health and Safety training completion
Ability to work independently and with a team
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Contribute irrigation maintenance, grounds support, communication, and documentation skills to Central Okanagan school communities.
