Care Finder seeks backup childcare for a 2-year-old daughter who cannot attend daycare when unwell. You will provide attentive supervision, comfort, meals, routines, and communication with parents. The position offers ongoing, occasional weekday care between 9am and 6pm, with no guaranteed hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nurturing care during the child's mild illnesses
Keep the toddler comfortable, safe, and engaged
Prepare simple meals and snacks
Maintain parent-established schedules and routines
Communicate concerns and activities to parents
Requirements:
At least two years of paid childcare experience
Professional toddler experience preferred
Provide at least two childcare references
Hold CPR certification or become certified
Complete required screenings and inhaler training
Support one Montréal toddler with patient care, safe routines, parent communication, and flexible backup availability.
