This Personal Caregiver role delivers services tailored to individual needs and care plan directives. Responsibilities span household management, community activities, daily living assistance, specialized procedures, condition reporting, and infection prevention. Formal caregiver training or equivalent education and experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living
Deliver comprehensive homemaking and household management services
Accompany clients to community activities and events
Perform trained specialized procedures while maintaining competency
Implement infection prevention practices and document client conditions
Requirements:
Formal accredited caregiver training or equivalent qualifications
Strong understanding of caregiving and customer service principles
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
Capacity to squat, bend, stand, reach, and lift 23 kilograms
Clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check
