Multi-State HR Generalist

Lead multi-state compliance and HR operations at Jerry.ai while drafting policies, resolving escalations, and improving payroll and benefits processes.
As an HR Generalist, you will own hands-on compliance work across employee classifications and pay ranges. You will lead audits and handbook updates while supporting payroll, benefits, leave, and administration questions. The position also offers ownership of AI-focused process redesign.
Key Responsibilities:

Track state law changes and draft policy updates
Implement compliance requirements across classifications and pay ranges
Lead annual compliance audits and handbook refreshes
Resolve escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions
Review and unblock Payroll and HR Administration work
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline
At least two years of hands-on HR generalist experience
Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience
Comfort with payroll, benefits, and compliance responsibilities
Excitement about building with AI
