You'll also engage in both yard and on-route duties, ensuring smooth operations in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with railroad rules and safety protocols
• Assemble and dismantle trains in the rail yard
• Operate track switches for locomotive and rail car routing
• Inspect train conditions and equipment regularly
• Communicate effectively with Rail Traffic Control
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in safety or regulatory environments
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of vocational school or freight conductor experience
• Valid driver's license and passport for travel
• Capacity to lift up to 90 pounds
