Lead evening operations at YMCA's H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre in Kelowna, BC. As a Manager on Duty, ensure a welcoming environment and oversee staff in daily operations.
The YMCA of Southern Interior BC seeks a Manager on Duty to provide leadership during evening shifts. You will support staff, uphold YMCA standards, and enhance member experiences. This role requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to foster positive interactions and resolve concerns during peak times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and support to evening operations staff
• Ensure adherence to YMCA policies and service standards
• Manage incidents and emergencies as they arise
• Handle member feedback and service recovery tasks
• Collaborate across departments to enhance facility operations
Requirements:
• Supervisory experience in recreation or customer service
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency responses
• Flexible availability for evening shifts
