Commission water slide attractions in Ottawa using diagnostics, control systems, and electrical troubleshooting skills. This in-office role includes extensive global travel.
The Ride Commission Product Technician supports new attraction commissioning and existing ride requalification. You will work with clients, Product Development, Project Management, Field Service, and Ride Design Engineering. The role covers gravity rides and technology-enhanced attractions, with frequent hands-on validation.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead commissioning activities with clients and internal resources
Troubleshoot sensors, pumps, HMIs, scales, and networking
Manage pump flows and characterize ride performance
Conduct Site Acceptance Testing and post-installation audits
Train clients on product operation and maintenance
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or electromechanical or mechatronics technician credential
One to three years in a customer-facing role
Understand AC, DC, VFD, and PLC principles
Know Siemens, Rockwell, and industrial networking protocols
Willingness to travel globally up to 70 percent
Bring PLC validation, electrical diagnostics, and client training expertise to ProSlide water slide commissioning projects worldwide.
