You will develop designs for passenger cars, locomotives, and freight wagons using SolidWorks and DraftSight. This role emphasizes proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and requires strong knowledge in materials and mechanical assembly methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design structures and interior fittings for rail vehicles
• Create bolted, welded, and sheet metal assemblies
• Develop technical drawings and material lists for production
• Prepare assembly manuals and installation instructions
• Conduct on-site dimensional surveys to support installations
Requirements:
• College diploma in mechanical design or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10-15 years of experience in metal fabrication and mechanical design
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software
• Bilingual (French and English) for client interactions
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving ability
