In this senior role, you will lead the VM performance testing strategy and mentor SDETs in systems-level testing. You'll design environments that mimic bare-metal conditions using containers, develop automated benchmarks for CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with product teams to validate deployment safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and own hypervisor behavior and VM performance test strategies
• Design reproducible environments for accurate testing
• Develop automated performance benchmarks for CI/CD
• Collaborate on SLO measurement and safety strategies
• Write performance analysis pipelines using Go, Python, and Perl
Requirements:
• 12 years of experience in performance testing and systems engineering
• Proficient in KVM/QEMU/libvirt internals
• Experienced in debugging across x86 and ARM architectures
• Strong Linux fundamentals and performance tuning skills
• Skilled in Linux perf, VTune, and Jenkins
