Support residents through meal preparation and food handling as a part-time Dietary Aide at Barnswallow Place Community in Elmira, Ontario.
As a Dietary Aide with Sienna Senior Living, you will support Long Term Care residents through dietary services. Your work includes meal preparation, serving, resident menu orders, and dining room sanitation. You will follow diets and food preferences while contributing to a safe, clean environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing and serving resident meals
Follow residents' diets and individual food preferences
Take menu orders from residents accurately
Set and clear dining room tables
Sanitize tables and follow food handling techniques
Requirements:
Valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willingness to obtain
Compassionate support for seniors and their daily lives
Detailed-oriented approach with strong customer service skills
Food service experience may include healthcare or hospitality
Legal eligibility to work in Canada and required checks
