Torex Gold seeks a Lead, Project Controls to oversee project governance and provide strategic leadership in cost control, scheduling, and risk management. This Canada-based role requires travel to Mexico monthly.
In this leadership position, you will guide a team of cost controllers and planner-schedulers while collaborating with construction, engineering, and finance teams. The role emphasizes proactive risk management and strategic project reporting to aid informed decision-making. Your insights will drive effective implementation of project controls across Torex Gold’s capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead governance framework implementation for project processes
• Mentor team of project controls professionals effectively
• Evaluate project needs and coordinate resources
• Manage project schedules and their integration
• Prepare project reports and performance analysis
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Minimum 10 years in project controls
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Strong knowledge of risk management
• Willingness to travel regularly to Mexico
