Northern Construction Project Coordinator
WSP in Canada
Coordinate remote construction projects with WSP in Yellowknife, using local knowledge and northern experience to support safe, organized field delivery.
This intermediate coordinator supports construction, remediation, and mine closure projects across Northern Canada. You will help manage logistics, materials, contractors, schedules, project controls, and documentation. The position involves collaboration with communities, regulators, clients, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate remote site logistics, mobilization, and materials
Support construction planning and project scheduling activities
Monitor contractor performance, safety, quality, and progress
Identify risks and resolve field issues
Maintain project records and progress tracking tools
Requirements:
Based in Yellowknife or the Northwest Territories
Two to five years supporting construction or infrastructure projects
Diploma or degree in construction, engineering, or related studies
Experience coordinating contractors and interpreting technical documents
Microsoft Office skills and northern project experience
Use northern knowledge, construction coordination, and field problem-solving skills to support WSP projects throughout Northern Canada.
