Personal Support Worker Scarborough

Provide direct personal care as a Personal Support Worker at Tendercare Living Centre in Scarborough, Ontario, supporting residents with daily needs.
Extendicare invites PSWs to apply for temporary part-time and casual work in a 204-bed long-term care home. You will support residents’ physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs through established routines. The work includes personal care, activities, meals, documentation, and resident support.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with ambulation, feeding, bathing, and grooming
Support participation in resident activity programs
Provide meal service and nourishment delivery
Offer emotional and social support, including palliative care
Document care and follow safety and infection-control procedures
Requirements:
Completed an approved Personal Support Worker program
Long-term care nursing experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of care planning systems and documentation
Ability to read and write English and follow instructions
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Bring compassionate resident care, documentation, and personal support skills to Tendercare Living Centre in Scarborough with Extendicare.
