This Meat Department Manager oversees a specific store department and its operational standards. The manager drives sales and profitability, develops associates, and maintains merchandise presentation. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations for the assigned meat department
Meet or exceed departmental sales and profitability goals
Train associates in service, product knowledge, and merchandising
Monitor inventory and coordinate timely replenishment
Maintain clean, safe, and properly merchandised department standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
Previous retail management experience, preferably departmental or specialty retail
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of merchandising, inventory management, and customer service
Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
