Registered Practical Nurse Acute Care Cambridge

Acute care Registered Practical Nurse role in Cambridge with Cambridge Memorial Hospital, supporting medicine patients through 12-hour rotating shifts.
This full time contract is expected to end November 2027 and includes days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The role requires treatments, assessments, monitoring, documentation, and interdisciplinary reporting. Preferred experience includes telemetry, oncologic and palliative nursing, complex symptom management, CADD pumps, and Meditech modules.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in exceptional health care delivery
Manage patient treatments, procedures, and monitoring
Support complex pain and palliative symptom care
Maintain CADD pumps when qualified
Coordinate patient and family information needs
Requirements:
Registered Practical Nurse diploma or equivalent
Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification
One year recent medical hospital experience
Ongoing professional education in related clinical areas
Familiarity with Meditech preferred
Support acute medicine patients with nursing assessments, monitoring, education, and clinical communication at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
