As an Accountant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities span across managing accounts payable/receivable and preparing journal entries to facilitate month-end closings. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the integrity of financial data and support key processes within the Finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare GST, PST, and tax filings accurately
• Support month-end close with journal entries
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
• Act as primary contact for vendor inquiries
• Assist Finance team with audits and special projects
Requirements:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• 4-7 years of accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication abilities, verbal and written
• Ongoing pursuit of CPA preferred
