Support classroom learning at Starland Colony School through student assistance and professional communication, working full time Monday to Friday.
This full time Educational Assistant position provides additional classroom support to students. You will assist the teacher while communicating meaningfully and professionally with students and teachers. Organization and professionalism are expected when representing staff in person, by telephone, and through correspondence.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the teacher with additional student classroom support
Communicate meaningfully with students and teachers
Communicate professionally in person, by telephone, and correspondence
Present yourself as an organized staff representative
Requirements:
Specific interest in education
Compassionate and self motivated approach
Ability to communicate meaningfully with students and teachers
Organized and professional presentation
Previous fast paced team environment experience is an asset
