Senior Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

Own full-cycle accounts receivable and collections for MoveSmart Rentals during full-time Ontario business hours. Apply strong reconciliation and payment follow-up skills.
As an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist, you will manage customer invoicing, payment application, account reconciliations, and overdue portfolios. The position covers Canadian operations and requires previous experience supporting Canadian companies. You will investigate discrepancies, handle billing disputes, negotiate payment commitments, and prepare collection forecasts. This is an independent role focused on accurate account administration and predictable incoming cash.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices and statements
Apply payments and resolve unapplied cash accurately
Reconcile accounts and investigate customer discrepancies
Conduct telephone and email collection follow-up
Prepare forecasts and report accounts at risk
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Minimum four years of relevant accounts receivable experience
Previous experience supporting Canadian companies is required
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
QuickBooks Online or established accounting platform experience
