Work at Bobier Villa in Dutton as a Temporary Casual Housekeeping/Laundry Aide, cleaning resident spaces and following County of Elgin safety procedures. Good communication skills are important.
This Housekeeping/Laundry Aide assignment helps maintain a clean, neat, and tidy long-term care Home. The position involves established cleaning operations, preventative maintenance procedures, and work across resident corridors, washrooms, carpets, walls, floors, windows, and doors. Institutional housekeeping experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean resident living corridors and washrooms
Dust, mop, and maintain assigned areas
Clean walls, floors, windows, and doors
Maintain carpets using established procedures
Follow Occupational Health and Safety requirements
Requirements:

Good communication skills
Preferred experience in institutional housekeeping
Satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector screening
Satisfactory two-step Tuberculosis screening documentation
Contribute cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and communication skills to Bobier Villa’s resident-focused long-term care setting.
