Senior Facilities Maintenance Worker
Alberta Health Services
Lead complex maintenance at Myron Thompson Health Centre using specialized repairs, building controls, and preventative maintenance expertise. This regular full-time role includes days and on-call rotations.
As a Maintenance Worker IV, you will apply considerable initiative and judgment to maintenance and repair work. You will maintain specialized equipment and building control systems while providing leadership to maintenance staff. The position also supports operational requirements through monitoring, system repairs, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform highly skilled maintenance and complex repair work
Complete preventative maintenance on specialized equipment
Repair and monitor building control systems
Provide leadership and direction to maintenance staff
Resolve escalated operational issues when required
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in a related field
Technical certification in a related field
Fourth Class Power Engineer Certificate where boiler support is necessary
Ability to follow standards, regulations, and procedures
Driver's license and vehicle availability as required
