As a Senior Technical Director, you will oversee major shows, ensuring top-notch production standards and execution. You will collaborate closely with Account leads and Production teams, managing budgets, staffing, and on-site technical direction. Your role will involve hands-on guidance for production and RFQ processes, aiming to uphold GPJ's reputation in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage technical production for large events and shows
• Supervise union and non-union labor on-site
• Oversee budgets and project staffing needs
• Develop technical solutions and approaches for shows
• Guide RFQ process and vendor management
Requirements:
• 10-15 years in production management or technical direction
• CAD proficiency in Vectorworks and Google Suite
• Strong understanding of live event best practices
• Excellent project management and budgeting skills
• Ability to travel 40% of the time
