An established Vancouver law firm is hiring an Intermediate Real Estate Paralegal / Conveyancer for its Real Estate Department. You will handle residential matters, while some commercial experience is an asset. The firm requires three to five-plus years in real estate law, lender and borrower mortgage experience, and proficiency with BC Online, Worldox, myLTSA, and real estate forms.
Key Responsibilities:
Review title documents following comprehensive title searches
Prepare and register required Land Title Office forms
Coordinate closings with conveyancers, realtors, brokers, and insurers
Deposit trust funds and process trust payments
Complete general administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
Three to five-plus years of relevant real estate law experience
Residential transaction expertise; commercial experience considered an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask in time-sensitive scenarios
Discretion with confidential matters and sound professional judgment
