This full-time Early Childhood Educator serves preschool children at St. James PSCC in Winnipeg’s Unicity and West Area. The Y seeks educators who build positive relationships, implement activities meeting children’s needs, and apply ELCC standards. The position requires communication, documentation, and collaborative work.
Key Responsibilities:
Build positive relationships with children and families
Implement activities that meet children’s needs
Apply ELCC and Y standards and requirements
Work independently and as part of a team
Complete written documentation
Requirements:
Manitoba Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or 3
Child Care Assistant in Training enrollment proof
Experience with preschool or school-aged children
Emergency First Aid and CPR C certification
Required police and child abuse registry checks
Bring respectful relationship-building, preschool experience, and responsive activities to children at the Y’s Winnipeg centre.
