Sodexo is seeking a Cleaning Operative to support a clean, safe, and hygienic production environment. This position suits someone with cleaning experience, particularly in manufacturing or production, who follows procedures carefully. You will work with colleagues, management, and client employees while maintaining professional service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean allocated areas according to agreed schedules
Dispose of waste safely and replenish washroom consumables
Follow COSHH requirements when handling cleaning materials
Maintain standards throughout shifts and answer ad-hoc requests
Communicate accidents, near misses, and safety concerns
Requirements:
Cleaning experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements
Basic literacy and effective time management
Physical ability for frequent walking, bending, and stooping
Support Sodexo’s Crown Bevcan service with careful cleaning, safe working practices, and consistent standards across Peterborough’s production site.
