Lead Sporting Life’s Ski and Bikes team with retail leadership, product expertise, and a passion for outdoor adventure in a hybrid environment.
As Hardgoods Department Manager, you will guide customer experiences across skiing and cycling merchandise. You will partner with your assistant manager to achieve sales targets, manage team KPIs, and maximize profitability. The position combines coaching, scheduling, inventory, and merchandising responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding service and resolve customer issues promptly
Execute visual merchandising standards and weekly sales plans
Act as Manager on Duty during daily operations
Identify hazards and uphold Occupational Health and Safety standards
Support recruitment, development, and performance appraisals
Requirements:

Love of skiing, biking, and outdoor adventures
Two to four years of retail leadership experience
Record leading teams toward goals and stronger customer experiences
Results-driven, entrepreneurial approach to challenges
Strong communication and organized multitasking abilities
Bring skiing, biking, coaching, and operational expertise to Sporting Life’s customer-focused Hardgoods department leadership team.
